Early last Saturday morning, I had an assignment at the Wayside Christian Mission in downtown Louisville. I wasn't excited about the assignment and wasn't in a hurry to get there. I stopped about a block away when I saw a huge shadow of a cross reflected on a nearby building.
It looked great as a still life. But then, I saw a man running with his dog, running across Market Street, and toward the shadow. I waited, composed, and bam! It happened.
I love the moment of creation. It seemed that this picture was destined to be made.

This is great! You're right, some photos are just destined to be made. Love this!
